Our early spring fishing takes place in waters around Amherst with the target species being trophy size Lake Trout which can exceed 20lbs which cruise the cold shallow waters at this time.

As the waters warm the trout move deeper and we travel to offshore areas such as Timber and False duck island and eventually Main Duck Island. These islands and the shoals between form an archipelago extending from Prince Edward county to Henderson Harbor NY.

During the summer months, bait fish gather in large numbers and attract multiple species of predatory fish such as Chinook salmon, brown trout, lake trout, rainbow trout and walleye. This area is also a prime destination for tournament anglers in search of trophy smallmouth bass.
